George Hill
Winter Workshop Ballet Teacher
Training/Education: George trained at the Royal Ballet School in London, performing as a student with both the Royal Ballet and Birmingham Royal Ballet before embarking on a successful professional career across Europe.
Professional Experience: He danced as a soloist with the Dutch National Ballet in Amsterdam and the Dresden Semperoper Ballet in Germany. After retiring from ballet, he transitioned into modelling, working with renowned fashion houses such as Prada, Gucci, and Jil Sander. He also pursued acting in film and television. His final stage performance combined his love for dance, fashion, and theatre in the world premiere of McQueen in London’s West End. He then retired from performing to establish BDC, a foundation college training 16 to 18-year-olds, now in its 12th successful year.
Biggest Inspiration: For George, sharing the joy of dance is his greatest inspiration. He believes it is a privilege that should be accessible to all, enriching lives through creativity and expression.
