Since 1988, National Youth Ballet, has given young people the chance to create and perform classical and contemporary ballet. We believe that ballet is for everyone, across every background, ability, and experience of life.
Every year, over 500 young people take part in our creative, joyful and inclusive ballet activities. We help them build confidence, learn new skills, and look after their mental wellbeing.
Ballet has a reputation for being elite. We want to change that. Through subsidised activities, regional workshops, national residencies and our NYB All In! classes, we’re opening doors to young people of every background and ability.
Your support helps us go further. Together, we can build a more diverse and vibrant future for ballet.

Relevé Appeal
Every donation we receive helps us remove more barriers, by providing essential bursaries, covering access costs, and expanding our inclusive training nationwide. By donating to our Relevé appeal you will be creating opportunities for the next generation of dancers.
Here’s what your donation could do:
- £25 could give a young dancer their first NYB workshop place in a new location
- £50 could support a disabled dancer’s access needs through NYB All In!
- £100 could pay for a 2-hour Beyond Ballet® mentoring session for an emerging artist
- £250 could commission a bold new work from a young choreographer
